Rodney Herbert has achieved one of golf’s ultimate milestones with hole-in-one on the 14th at Nyngan Golf Club during last week (ending Friday, February 20).

A tremendous achievement. Herbert’s perfect tee shot straight into the hole highlights the past week’s action with round 18 played in near perfect conditions.

A total of 96 players took to the course once again.

With only five rounds remaining, the season is heading towards an exciting finish.

A number of teams remain well in contention to lift the trophy.

As always, the modified handicapping system continues to produce an interesting and competitive run home.

A reminder that the twilight closing day has been pencilled in for Saturday, March 28. The event will be played as a four-person ambrose over nine holes.

Round 18 team winners included Hack-Attack, Foodworks, Rycon Fairway to Heaven, J Whaley Constructions, Bel-Air Bashers, Crack N Plumbers, Hawley’s Hitters, Murphy’s Hardware, Bogan Coffee Shop, Lister’s Lunatics, Neill Earthmoving, and Rough Nuts.

The round 18 weekly winners with 47 points were Neill Earthmoving. Congratulations to Jak Jeffery, Kirsty Burley, Nate Matheson and Chris Dennis.
