Plummer and Pearce part of Blue Bulls’ success
Nyngan’s Danielle Plummer has captained the Central West Blue Bulls to their fifth NSW Country Rugby Union crown, with her team defeating Mid North Coast 46-0 in the final in Tamworth on the weekend.

Plummer and her partner Sarah Pearce (co-coach of the Bogan Bulls) were both in the Central West team.
When not coaching the Bogan Bulls, the pair play club rugby with the Dubbo Kangaroos.
It was the second successive year the Central West team has won the Thomson Cup, awarded to the champion women’s side at the Country Championships.
Plummer has shown she is versatile across two codes, also playing in the championship winning Western Rams rugby league representative side.
Nyngan’s Alahna Ryan was also in the Blue Bulls line up. Ryan is another to successfully play in both codes at the top level.
Meanwhile Bogan Bulls players Jeremy Holmes, Will Boag and Jake Holmes were all part of the Western Plains men’s team at the championships.
