Nyngan Golf Club Report - March 7/8
The fun and community spirit just continues on at the ever-popular Nyngan Golf Club.

Strong fields, excellent scoring and, as always, great company around the club.
That’s a day on the fairways and 19th hole at Nyngan Golf Club and the action on March 7/8 was entertaining as usual.
Saturday, March 7: 18-hole Individual Stableford
Michael Beetson claimed victory with 38 points after a countback from Chris Dennis, with both players finishing strongly in a tightly contested event.
Ashton Deebank also produced a fine round to finish just behind the leading pair, in third place, also with 38 points.
Mark Beetson secured fourth place with 35 points on a countback, while Petria Quarmby rounded out the top five with 35 points.
Nearest the pins went to Mark Beetson (second), Greg Matheson (fourth), Mandy Martin (eighth in two shots), Michael Beetson (14th) and Chris Dennis (17th).
Sunday, March 8: Nine-hole Ambrose Meat Run
A field of 54 players contested Sunday’s popular meat run, with Mandy Martin, Tim Tulenew and Janine Tulenew taking the win after a countback with a score of 28.167 nett.
Anthony Ah‑See, Les Dorrington and Adam Dorrington finished close behind in second place with the same score.
Greg Matheson, Jackson Hughes and Ashton Deebank secured third with 28.333 nett.
Brendan Smith, Tara McDermott and Mitch Williams were fourth (29.667 nett) were fourth with Dudley, Michael & Nick Beetson (29.833 nett) rounding out the top five.
Nearest the Pins went to Luke Smith, Johnny Turner and Michelle Owen (11th in two shots) and Anthony Ah‑See (12th), Janine Tulenew (14th), Luke Smith, Johnny Turner and Michelle Owen (16th in two shots) and Mitch Williams (17th).
